My Nashville trip went well. The trip was a huge hit and for being assembled in three days after work she turned out beautiful. One word to describe it classy. I walked away with three awards also.

Sneak peak The Horse cover shoot

I had the honor of taking the xs 400 I built for Dennis Williams of akron, oh up to detroit a few weekends ago. They shot Double D's for the cover along with model: Annè Chevelle. It will be on the newstands around June or July. Paint was done by Steve H ennis of Flame Thrower Customs also and Ohio guy. Grab a copy when they come out and see the whole spread. Old Double D's took first again in the Retro Mod class!

Well I entered the XS400 in the retro mod class again and walked away with a big check as my kids would say. I was up against some still competition. There was a 47 harley flathead, acouple real nice triumphs, an Gen/shovel, another nice shovel and acouple other jap bikes. It was nice this was the first big event my kids were able to attend and I won so they got to grace the stage with there pops. It's nice being voted by the builders so you know they can appreciate fine craftsmanship!  Cleveland IMS progressive show.

Part tres! AMO Drift trike frame fitment and welding!

Here are acouple shots of the frame on the jig, fitment of the tubing and finish welding enjoy. I set the neck at 25 inches up and a 42 degree angle.

Part dúex of the trike. 23" tire!

So I started from scratch on the trike front end. I tried to hug the tire as tight as possible with my bender 5" radius. I made the axle bungs on the lathe and scavenged a stem off a 20" bicycle then tig welded them together to make them one.
